Titchfield Ablaze 2026
Every year Titchfield village celebrates Christmas as local residents display a lit Christmas tree in a bracket fixed to the outside of their houses. Would you like to join in - or join us again - and purchase an outdoor tree?
There are some changes this year so please take note. We will be able to supply 3ft-5ft Nordmann’s Second Quality Trees; there will be no choices on size as the long hot summer has taken its toll and it’s been an extremely difficult growing season.
Last year the price was £16.50 we will be able to supply a tree this year for £15.50 cheaper than last year as there will be no choice on the size of tree that will be given to you.
The trees will be supplied trimmed, but may need further trimming by you to fit into your bracket as there are many different bracket sizes in the village.
We will be sending an email with an order form out shortly to names on our mailing list.
Forms will also be available from Haggard Family Butcher. Alternatively, you can complete the form below and post it through 6 The High Street’ or email via titchfieldablaze@gmail.com.
The trees will be ready for you to collect from 9.30am - 1.00pm on Saturday 5 th December at a new location which will be at the gates in the far left corner of Barry’s Meadow Car Park (car park serving Meon Health Practice – Jubilee Surgery)
If you are unable to collect your tree, please make alternative arrangements with a friend to collect within these times. These trees are available for Titchfield Village residents - outside trees only.
Please tell your neighbours and friends in the village if they do not know about ordering a tree.
Thank you for joining us in lighting Titchfield for Christmas and making the village look festive.
We are a group of local volunteers who co-ordinate the trees; placing an order for 300 English grown trees. They are delivered to the village for collection.
We organise Christmas trees for community buildings like the Parish Rooms and Haggard Family butchers provide a tree for the village green – with lights supplied by Freemantle’s, transport by Mark Harris, Tony Traves made the star and the insurance for the tree is paid for by the Village Trust and the Yarn Bombers provide decorative baubles which all contribute to the Christmas festive season in Titchfield.
