Old English Bowling Open Day

The open day to entice new members attracted 13 folk who tried bowling for the 1st time and 3 partners who came down because it was such a nice day.

Of the 13, 5 expressed a desire to come along and observe a club afternoon session before committing to joining and others said they would probably sign up.

However, previous experience of open days should temper our optimism until we actually see signatures on a cheque.

Having said that - 13 turning up is the most we have had (in my 5 years’ experience) so fingers crossed.
