The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023.
SATURDAY
The Coronation Ceremony in London
The King and Queen Consort will travel to Westminster Abbey in the Gold State Coach as part of what is known as The King’s Procession, before travelling back in The Coronation Procession.
Titchfield Beacon Lighting, Barry’s Meadow at 8.30pm
Following the Beacon Lighting join with Neiighbours, Friends and Family iin the Village Hall for a chat about the day.
BRING YOUR OWN NIBBLES AND DRINK. 8.30pm onwards
SUNDAY
Titchfield’s day of celebration with events through out the day: A procession, The Big Lunch at Barry’s Meadow, Bands, Stalls, Tug of War, Dog Show and Field Games

12:00 BBQ and Music Queen’s Head car park begins.
12:15 Children’s Fancy Dress Competition
12:30 Big Lunch ‘Bring your own Picnic’ for your own Street Party or bring your own blankets (Barry’s Meadow)
13:00 The Bobby Jay Duo playing
13:00 Dog Show starts (7 Classes. Registration from 11:00 outside Village Hall
Plus Have-A-Go Dog Agility (Prize for fastest time)
13:30 Senior Tea Party in the Village Hall plus Tea and Cake sale
13:30 Debut Dance Academy Childrens Dancing
14:00 The Titchfield Whalers,Sea Shanty Band in the Queens Head
14:00 Field Games (Sack race, egg and spoon, etc)
14:30 Adult Tug-of-War Tournament (Team Registration in Queens Head beforehand)
15:30 Sing Now Choir, a contemporary, fresh upliftingcommunity choir
16:00 Prize Giving and Close
MONDAY
The Big Help Out
Your chance to volunteer your services to the community and join the work being undertaken to make Titchfield a better place. The aim of The Big Help Out is to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation Weekend.

As we did last year Titchfield will be one of hundreds of Beacons lighting up the skies
There is a long tradition of celebrating Royal Jubilees, Weddings and Coronations with the lighting of beacons. A beacon chain, once used as a tool for communication, has now become a symbol of unity across towns, borders, countries and continents and is often the central point of focus for any outdoor gathering or celebration.
Following the Beacon Lighiing join with Neighbours, Friends and Family in the Village Hall for a chat about the day.

The Big Knees Up
